Situation
The end customer, who is a major Metropolitan City and is considered as one of the top 10 cities in the US, wants to outsource and centralize its NG-911 system. Therefore, our customer is providing the integrated call centers for the network and doing all integration with the local carriers. All 911 emergency calls will be integrated through the call centers and redistributed to the area dispatch center for fire, police and emergency services.
Solution
Loop-IP6704A provides remote T1 edge access for the carrier at a local distribution point closest to the party requesting 911 services. Integration of the T1 lines are handled at the regional call centers via the G7860A for processing and retransmission to the local dispatch center, who in turn release the proper emergency vehicles or service.
