Description

Teleprotection is an important technology for mission-critical communication in power grid networks. This technology monitors the health of the power grid, isolates faults and helps prevent serious risks, power disruption and equipment damage. Teleprotection requires low delay, low jitter and low asymmetry and the IP6704A delivers these requirements. The Loop-IP6704A device supports many interfaces such as E1/FE1, T1/FT1, E&M, X.21, RS232, V.35, EIA530 and C37.94 plus an option DACS (DS0 Cross Connect) feature. IP6704A is an ideal and economical solution for establishing an effective teleprotection system.
