Loop Telecommunication International, Inc., was recently awarded and selected again by Chunghwa Telecom (CHT), Taiwan's leading Telecommunications Service Provider, supplying over 1080 links of its 800 Mbps O9340S (stand alone type, Multi-Service Gigabit FOM), O9340R(Rack-mounting type, Multi-Service Gigabit FOM) and C5600(Chassis type) for mobile backhaul deployment in CHT’s 2G/3G/3.5G BTS. Besides voice service, CHT provides the new HSDPA 3.5G service for its subscribers with wireless Internet access from PCs and laptop computers at a maximum speed of 7.2 Mbps.

Several thousands links of Loop O9340S&R have been deployed for mobile backhaul to increase the 2G/3G/3.5G BTS density and have provided voice, date and video services around Taiwan. Loop Multi-Service Gigabit FOM is designed to allow mobile operators more cost-efficient transport for 2G/3G/3.5G BTS HSDPA cellular traffic.
