Box has
been selected by one major network service provider in Africa providing E1 leased line service to customers, including enterprises.
The leased lines are implemented for connectivity among branches and headquarters
for data transmission. In contrast to traditional point to point application, Loop-
IP6510 is placed at the regional offices and headquarters and Loop-IP6610 is placed in
the remote branches. With the E1 MLPPP feature, the E1 leased line service
could be offered a bundle of multiple E1 lines.
If any of E1 lines is dropped or disconnected in the network, the
Ethernet traffic will continue to transmit through the remaining links.
